While its story is predictable, the Vampire Dusting Department is spirited and rich in original comedy. With a nod to the clever romance the movie manages to adjust to this potentially scary affair of necrophilia throughout its making it fun. īut what is most striking is the surprise factor that emerged from this undead parody medium is, surprisingly, a sweet and romantic love story between Tim (Babyjohn Choi Hon-yick) and a virgin immune to the vampire toxin. Vampire Cleanup Department is a very entertaining film, a great sample of HK comedy, which also functions, on a secondary lever, as a parody to CAT III films.
